Privacy
The Android app counts how long the phone shows 5G, 4G, 3G, or 2G. That count stays on the phone.
Phone status is used only to read which mobile generation is on the status bar, including when the icon says 5G and the data session is still 4G. The app does not read your phone number, messages, contacts, photos, or location. It does not send the hours to 5gor4g.com or sell them.
Wi-Fi is not added to the 5G or 4G hours. You can stop counting in the app, and you can remove the hours by uninstalling the app.
The speed test on 5gor4g.com runs in the browser. It measures download, upload, and ping for that visit. It is separate from the hours stored in the app.
